Strong M&E are working on behalf of its client who are a privately-backed renewable energy installation and technology business based in Warrington.

The company deals with the installation of renewable energy solutions, primarily Solar PV, Battery Storage and Air Source Heat Pumps.

They boast an experienced team of renewable energy professionals & has secured extensive pipelines of installation work and is making rapid progress in innovative proprietary software and hardware development as it seeks to create innovative whole-house solutions to help tackle UK fuel poverty.

About The Role:

The company has recently secured several high-volume domestic renewable energy installation contracts and is looking for an experienced, knowledgeable and self-motivated Installer Manager to join their team.

The ideal candidate will boast significant, provable, installation management experience in the renewables market, a minimum of 2 years is preferred.

About You:

To be an ideal candidate for this role, you will:

Have at least 2 years' experience in delivering domestic or commercial Solar PV projects.
Qualified 18th edition or previously holding 17th edition with a willingness to qualify to undertake CPD and obtain 18th qualification. We will support you through this.
Be familiar with, and have a proven track record in, following and understanding MCS regulations.
Have experience of being actively involved in Commercial and Business Development departments for tendering and contract bids.
Be comfortable with taking an active involvement with scheduling and procurement managers, helping to develop necessary processes.
Have worked and collaborated with property surveyors and design teams to ensure prelims and CDM is always considered.
Be experienced in managing internal staff members and external contractors.
Have a complete understanding of all key Solar PV products. Additional knowledge of ASHP products is desirable.
Possess the ability to create project specific RAMS and H&S documentation.
Be comfortable managing various stakeholder requirements, with a particular focus on ensuring the customer/client is always happy, showing professionalism and excellent listening skills.
Work as part of a team, seeking guidance from departmental expertise if required.
Have demonstrable pre installation planning skills to ensure everything required for first day of site delivery is accounted for.
Be comfortable producing product and project progress updates, ready to present to company stakeholders.
Be comfortable working on a computer and be able to interact with a CRM system, updating with all relevant details, including but not limited to customer interactions and required certs/documentation.
Have experience conducting regular team meetings with your teams, acting on feedback to improve efficiency and ability to hold regular toolbox talks.Working Arrangement and Package

The role will contain a mixture of on-site and office work, with an expectation of a 50/50 split, which may be subject to change in line with the requirements of the project.

There is a general requirement to be visual and present to the installation teams that you will manage, meaning you may be required to travel across the UK and stay overnight, although overnight stays are not expected to exceed two nights at a time.

Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving license is an essential requirement.

The annual Salary on offer for this role is between £40,000 - £50,000k which is negotiable depending on your experience
