Role responsibilities
- Managing a personal or mixed tax portfolio, handling all compliance aspects and ensuring timely submissions
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships and companies
- Assisting with advisory projects including tax planning, restructuring, capital gains and inheritance tax
- Liaising directly with clients and HMRC to handle queries and provide guidance
- Supporting more senior team members with complex technical work and research
- Reviewing the work of junior staff and helping with their development
- Keeping up to date with tax legislation and industry developments

Candidate requirements
- ATT qualified or ACA/ACCA qualified with a focus on tax, or CTA part-qualified/qualified
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a tax-focused role within practice
- Confident managing client relationships and handling queries independently
- Strong technical knowledge in either personal or corporate tax, or both
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with an interest in developing others
