Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Finance Manager for a well-established and growing business in Exeter. This is a permanent role with hybrid working.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the finance department, leading and mentoring a team.

Key duties will include:

• Production of accurate and high-quality monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Analyse month and year-to date performance, reporting on variances to budget and forecast.
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts in collaboration with budget holders across the business
• Ensure capital expenditure costs are recorded and allocated accurately
• Cash flow forecasting
• Assist with the preparation of the year-end financial statements and audit files, supporting the audit process.
• Produce relevant financial information as required to support decision making

The successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with good people management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
