About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Property Litigation Solicitor to join a growing, ambitious law firm based in Nottingham. This role is open to candidates across all PQE levels, making it ideal for both developing and experienced lawyers looking to progress within a supportive and expanding team.

Key Responsibilities

You will handle a varied caseload of property litigation matters, which may include:

Residential and commercial landlord & tenant disputes
Possession proceedings and rent arrears recovery
Lease disputes and forfeiture matters
Boundary disputes and rights of way issues
Dilapidations claims
Property-related contractual disputes
Advising clients on risk, strategy, and dispute resolutionYou will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload (depending on experience), with appropriate supervision and support where required.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing property litigation files from instruction through to resolution
Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and legal correspondence
Representing clients in negotiations and alternative dispute resolution
Liaising with clients, counsel, and third parties
Supporting business development and maintaining strong client relationships
Contributing to the continued growth of the firm

About You

The firm is keen to hear from candidates who:

Are a qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) at any PQE level
Have experience in property litigation (or a strong interest in specialising in this area)
Can manage a caseload independently or are keen to develop towards this
Demonstrate strong communication and client care skills
Are commercially aware and pragmatic in their approach
Thrive in a collaborative, close-knit team environment
