We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and proactive Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant secondary school in Lambeth this September. This is a brilliant opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced educators looking for a rewarding role without the full responsibility of a teaching post.

🧑‍🏫 About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher. Your role will involve maintaining order, ensuring students stay on task, and managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Supervise whole classes across a variety of subjects (no planning or marking required)

Manage student behaviour and ensure a safe, focused learning environment

Distribute and collect resources for lessons

Provide feedback to the teaching team on student progress or concerns

Step in flexibly as needed, often at short notice

🌟 Ideal Candidate:

Confident classroom presence with excellent communication skills

Calm, organised, and able to think on your feet

Some experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, youth work, coaching, teaching assistant roles)

A degree or equivalent (desirable but not essential)

Genuine interest in working in education
