In-House Indirect Tax Manager, Financial Services

£90,000 - £100,000

A highly acquisitive business will be hiring an Indirect Tax Manager to add to their tax team. Reporting directly to the Head of Indirect Tax, the successful candidate will collaborate within a large, but close-knit team while enjoying a remote working arrangement.

This position is purposed to provide VAT compliance and reporting support, managing outsourced advisors and relations with tax authorities and contributing to ongoing process improvement. While the compliance is currently completed in-house, the Indirect Tax Manager's involvement will be review/oversight-focused in this regard.

We anticipate this opportunity will suit the indirect tax professional who has experience operating at VAT Manager level, likely having trained in a top professional services environment with some prior in-house/secondee experience.

The successful candidate

• ACA/CTA qualification desirable
• Experienced and technically confident in UK VAT compliance and advisory
• Experience working with PESMs, with financial services experience preferred
• Technologically proficient with experience using applications such as Alteryx, AlphaVAT
• The right to work permanently within the UK is required for this position
