The Role
As a Teacher of English, you will:
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with opportunities at Key Stage 5, depending on experience)
- Inspire a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking in all students
- Plan and deliver a well-structured curriculum that supports progress for learners of all abilities
- Monitor and assess student performance, providing clear feedback to support achievement
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment and extracurricular activities

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in English or a related subject
- A genuine passion for English and education
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners
