A specialist SEN school in LS9, Leeds is looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to support students aged 11-16 with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges (SEMH).

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support to students in KS3 & KS4

Assist students with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and learning needs

Work closely with teaching staff and SENCOs to adapt lesson plans

Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

*
Apply psychological insight to classroom behaviour and engagement

A degree in Psychology (or similar subject)

Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience

Experience in schools, care settings, or youth work is desirable
