Position Description: Imagine One is seeking a full time hire of a Contracts Analyst to support our fast-paced Contracts Department. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) is crucial and all applicants must be able to speak intelligently on the subject to ensure contract compliance. Experience with financial analysis is critical to allow proper Contracts handling. This position will work under supervision of the Contracts Supervisor and is expected to be self-reliant in performing required job functions.
Duties will incorporate all contract management actions from cradle to grave, including award and modification reviews for distribution and discussions with programs and senior level managers to ensure acknowledgement of requirements, monthly progress (financial) reporting, analysis of LOE usage, to be able to provide suggestions/recommendations on impacts to contract profit, data entry actions, file maintenance for audits and supporting subcontractor relations. Candidate must have the basic understanding of accounting functions to develop pricing data calls, cost to completes, review invoicing and any other contractual documentation required. This candidate may serve as a backup to the Lead Subcontracts Analyst in assisting with managing subcontract functions.
This candidate will closely interact with the Government and Prime customers and support other Imagine One Contract/Subcontract team members, Program personnel, accounting (for accurate invoicing and financial reviews) and upper management. This person will also assist with special projects assigned to the Contracts team.
Education Requirements: Must have at least an Associate’s degree. Some applicable Contracts courses and/or certifications are a plus.
Experience Requirements: At least 4 years relevant management of DOD contract compliance issues, including some knowledge of FARs and DFARs. ITAR and Government Property experience is an advantage. Must have experience with data entry into an accounting system (i.e. Microsoft Dynamics Navision).
