Reed Education, in partnership with Lancashire Teaching Agency – the official supply service for Lancashire County Council, is seeking an experienced Year 4 Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position at a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Accrington.

This is a full-time maternity cover role starting in January 2026, with responsibilities including:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 (Year 4) pupils
• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress in line with national curriculum standards
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Working closely with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives

? Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Experience teaching in KS2 is required – ECTs are not eligible for this role
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to differentiate and support pupils with EAL needs
