Store & Stock Controller (Warehouse / Manufacturing)

Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (½ hour lunch) 40 hours

About the Role

We’re recruiting for an experienced Store & Stock Controller to join a well-established manufacturing and logistics business in Poole. This hands-on role is key to managing the storage, security, and flow of materials and customer goods on site.

Key Duties

• Receive, check, and record incoming goods and materials.
• Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular stock takes.
• Issue stock, tools, and materials to colleagues as required.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams regarding deliveries and stock levels.
• Support dispatch operations and ensure all goods leave site correctly.
• Keep the storeroom secure, tidy, and organised.
• Occasionally assist with packing, deliveries, and general warehouse duties.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in stock control, warehousing, or stores management.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Competent with Microsoft Excel and basic IT systems.
• Forklift licence desirable (training can be provided).
• Full UK driving licence
• Flexible and proactive attitude with good teamwork skills.
