We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Qualified Teacher to join a dedicated team at a well-established SEN school in Meldreth, Cambridgeshire, on a permanent, full-time basis.

This school supports children and young people with a range of complex needs, including autism, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. They provide a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment, where pupils are encouraged to grow in confidence, independence, and ability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to meet individual learning needs
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture that promotes wellbeing and progress
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and specialist staff to deliver holistic support
  • Monitor and report on student progress, adapting teaching strategies as required
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional resilience, and personal development
  • Contribute to the wider school community and ongoing school development
What We're Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEN, or a strong interest in transitioning into SEN education
  • Excellent communication, planning, and classroom management skills
  • A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
  • A commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding
