We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Plumber to join our team in Birmingham on a permanent, full-time basis, delivering essential repairs and maintenance work across properties in partnership with Birmingham City Council.

The Role

You'll carry out a wide range of plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations in residential properties, with the ability to turn your hand to other trades when needed—such as minor electrical tasks, basic carpentry, and general maintenance. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and carry out repairs to plumbing systems (e.g., leaks, faulty toilets, tap replacements)

Install and maintain plumbing fixtures, appliances, and fittings

*

Conduct inspections and respond to both routine and emergency call-outs

*

Support with minor multi-trade tasks like patch plastering, carpentry, and painting

*

Maintain clear records of all completed work and follow health and safety procedures

*

Deliver excellent service to residents and ensure high standards of workmanship

What We're Looking For

*

NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in Plumbing (or equivalent)

*

Full UK driving licence

*

Valid CSCS/JIB card

*

Experience in social housing or residential repairs (preferred)

*

Ability to carry out a range of maintenance tasks beyond core plumbing

*

A strong understanding of health & safety practices

*

Friendly, professional, and able to work independently
