Contract: Temporary - 3 months
Pay: DOE
Hours: Full-time - Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

About the Role:
Our Client is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their finance team on a temporary basis for an initial three‑month assignment. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accurate processing of incoming payments, effective collection of outstanding balances, and the smooth management of customer accounts.

Working closely with the Accounts Receivable Team Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of accuracy, resolving billing queries, and supporting month‑end and audit processes. This is a fast‑paced role suited to someone with strong attention to detail and proven experience within an accounts receivable or credit control environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Process and accurately allocate customer payments including bank transfers, cheques and vouchers.

* Investigate and resolve billing and payment discrepancies.

* Collect outstanding balances in line with monthly targets.

* Generate manual invoices and process approved customer refunds.

* Input invoice data into the finance system and ensure timely dispatch to customers.

* Reconcile customer accounts and produce monthly balance sheet control reconciliations.

* Liaise with customers to resolve queries and ensure timely remittance.

* Open new customer accounts and process account amendments as required.

* Support compliance with internal controls, audit requirements and statutory regulations.

* Assist with process reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required:

* Minimum of 3 years' experience within an Accounts Receivable or similar finance role.

* Strong Microsoft Office skills.

* Experience working in a high‑volume accounts environment.

* Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills.

* Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

* Polish language skills and experience dealing with Polish customers is highly desirable.
