Field Service Engineer (UK/International)

Filling and Sealing Equipment - Food & Beverage Applications
(glass jars, plastic cups, tubs and/or pouches)

Previous relevant experience is a distinct advantage but candidates must have some knowledge of food processing or food packaging equipment (candidates without experience can not be considered)

Our client is a Global Market Leader in Food Equipment Solutions for Filling and Sealing Applications offering quality, state-of-the-art technology for precision and reliability across various sectors including food and beverage, animal feeds, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

Due to substantial growth we are looking to hire a Field Service Engineer to join the UK team. This position will involve general service work, new installations, emergency breakdown and repair for the UK office but will also support Head Office in Europe and will involve some International Travel at short notice.

Responsibilities:

* Diagnosing, repairing, installing and commissioning complex machinery, in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring minimal delays.

* Execution of scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance and Service Work

* Improving customer relationships and ensuring satisfaction

* Internal and External communication prior, during and post work execution.

* Delivering technical support to customers, including telephone and on-site attendance.

* Write detailed reports along with any supporting information and time frames as required.

Qualifications:

* Applicants must be Electrically qualified with good knowledge of Mechanical processes. Ideally HNC/HND however City & Guilds/NVQ will be considered with good experience of Food Equipment.
