We are supporting our client in sourcing an experienced Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced, strategic ER role.

Job Type: Temporary, ongoing
Salary: £16.96p/h
Location: Croydon
Hybrid Working: 4 days on site
Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert ER advice on a range of complex cases: sickness, grievance, disciplinary, capability, etc
Support line managers through informal resolution and formal hearings
Deliver ER policy briefings and upskill management teams
Ensure all processes align with Trust policies, employment law, and NHS frameworks
Liaise with staff networks, HR business partners, Occupational Health, and external legal teams
Record ER activity using relevant systems and contribute to reporting and evaluation
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:

Previous NHS experience is essential
Experience managing a high-volume ER caseload in a large, unionised organisation
Level 5 CIPD or equivalent desirable
Strong understanding of employment law, ACAS codes, and ER best practice
Excellent communication, mediation, and training delivery skills
