We require a Filling Room Operator based in Bromgrove to join a busy team in the Food Distribution Industry.

This will be an immediate start for the right candidates, Full trainning will be provided, a permanant position after a successful trial period.

As a Filling Room Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by ensuring the accurate filling and transportation of up to 1000kg pallecons, while maintaining strict adherence to food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Operate filling equipment in the filling room to accurately fill up to 1000kg pallecons with our product.
Utilize a pump truck to safely transport the filled pallecons to the designated areas.
Complete necessary paperwork and documentation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and company policies to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and smooth operation of the filling room.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to maintain optimal functionality.
Communicate any issues or concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to their implementation.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role or working in a production environment is preferred, but not essential. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate filling and documentation.
Physically capable of lifting and maneuvering up to 1000kg pallecons using a pump truck.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and willingness to adhere to strict guidelines.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production demands.
Hours of Work: Days or Afternoons. 

Mon - Fri  06:00 -  14:00
Rate of pay:

£12.21ph 
Overtime after 40hrs
