Job Description:

The Leidos Civil NISC III program has an opening for a Software Engineer SharePoint Developer. In this role, the candidate will need to collaborate with various IT Team members and related projects and programs for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The candidate will assist other team members with
• Develops software solutions by studying requirements, analysis of information needs; conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
• Performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes. Debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using ASP, Microsoft .Net and SharePoint Server
• Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows as well as development of Business Intelligence dashboards.
• Design, maintain infoPath forms
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• Actively participate in product design reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment.
• Collaborate with various IT Team members and participate on related projects and programs for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
• Use good communications skills in working directly with government customers and other contractors.

Experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications.
• Experience using jQuery, Client Object Model, and Service Oriented Architecture.
• Experience with SharePoint's application services framework including implementation, configuration, and usages of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services.
• Ability to write Stored Procedures, write complex SQL queries, and ability to analyze the SQL data is desired.
• Experience with researching, promoting, developing, and implementing best practices
• Experience working in an environment using DevOps, Agile, Scrum, and similar methodologies and frameworks

Ability to create easy-to-follow IT documentation for installation and configuration of applications, roadmaps, instructions, root cause analysis, change records, etc.
• Must have good communication, interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills
• Must be able to explain technical details and issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences and be able to clearly and concisely explain system concepts and problems Testing requirements
• Experience with automated testing
• Experience with 4-Tier Architecture (Dev, SIT, UAT, Prod) Issue management in complex systems
• Experience with reporting and documenting system issues as they are discovered
• Experience with troubleshooting and debugging issues and documenting solutions
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work, unsupervised.

Basic qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field and 4+ years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Expert in using Microsoft SharePoint InfoPath tools
• Good Knowledge in .NET, C#, ASP.NET & SQL.
• Expert with SharePoint Development, Web Parts, and workflow creation.
• Familiarity with SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP
• Working Knowledge of the SharePoint Framework, Office 365 development and JavaScript Libraries.

Desired skills
• Experience securing web services for a large organization or federal government customer.
• Experience with ITIL
