Job Title: Mobile M&E Engineer
Location: Preston 80%, Manchester 20%
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced M&E Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our team covering 2 sites, 2 prestigious commercial offices in Preston & Manchester.

This is a 2 static sites role within a commercial office environment, offering a stable Monday-Friday schedule with excellent opportunities for training and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in line with the site maintenance schedule

*

Responding to and resolving reactive maintenance tasks efficiently

*

Electrical fault finding, testing, and inspection

*

Maintenance of building services including lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and control systems

*

Basic mechanical maintenance support (HVAC, pumps, motors, etc.)

*

Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations

*

Updating job records and compliance documentation accurately

Requirements

*

Level 3 Electrical Qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)

*

Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience

*

Previous experience within a commercial office environment preferred

*

Good understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance processes

*

Ability to pass security clearance and DBS checks (essential)

*

Professional, client-facing manner
