We're recruiting for a Transport Planner to support Oxfordshire County Council's Movement and Place Strategies. This is a great opportunity to shape transport policy and public realm improvements across the county.

Rate: £300/day (negotiable)

IR35: Inside IR35

Contract: 6 months+

Location: County Hall, Oxford - 2 days/week on site, flexible working

Role Overview:

Provide technical expertise and review work across the team
Lead on Movement and Place Strategies and transport policy development
Use AutoCAD, GIS and other tools to support strategy delivery
Promote OCC's work across media and internal channelsStakeholder Engagement:

Build relationships across the Council and with external partners
Prepare reports and briefings for senior stakeholders and elected members
Manage consultations and engagement activities
Strategic Development:
Monitor and report on strategic outcomes
Support development of active travel, mobility hubs and public transport proposals
