Are you a hands-on Maintenance Manager with a proven background in food manufacturing or FMCG environments? We're working on behalf of a well-established and highly respected manufacturer in the Wirral area, seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead their engineering and maintenance operations at a flagship production facility.

The Role

This is a key leadership position responsible for driving asset reliability, improving site performance, and ensuring the efficient running of all mechanical, electrical, and utilities equipment across a high-speed production site.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a multi-skilled engineering team (shift and day-based)

Oversee all planned and reactive maintenance activity to ensure minimal downtime

*

Drive a proactive culture focused on continuous improvement, OEE, and reliability

*

Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and environmental standards

*

Collaborate with production and technical teams to support operational targets

*

Deliver CAPEX and improvement projects within time and budget

The Ideal Candidate

*

Proven leadership in a Maintenance or Engineering Manager role within food manufacturing or FMCG

*

Strong understanding of preventative maintenance systems and TPM

*

Hands-on engineering background (mechanical/electrical bias)

*

Excellent knowledge of H&S, compliance, and industry standards

*

Strong communicator and team player with a data-driven mindset

£60,000 - £65,000 + company benefits + development opportunities
