Power Systems Engineer

Initial 12 Month Contract

2-3 days per week on site (remainder working from home)

Leicester, East Midlands

£81.05 Per Hour (Umbrella Rate - Inside IR35)

The Role

Undertake technical reviews and Document reviews in support of system maturity
Articulate, define and document subject expertise, approaches and standards in order to extend business knowledge base.
Provide technical direction to engineers when in facility
Define the qualification obligations for the assurance hold points during build, test and commissioning, and providing assurance to the Design Authority as to the adequacy and robustness of the Safety Case and supporting documentation.
Undertake functional design and/or provide qualification and evidence for acceptance, fitness for purpose, legislative requirements, and safety.The Candidate

Power systems modelling experience
Labview experience
Equipment design, installation and commissioning experience
Through life testing experience
