Our client is a well established precision engineering business supplying high quality machined components to a range of industries including automotive, aerospace and industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a reliable and hands on Van Driver Labourer to support both logistics and workshop operations.

This is a varied role combining driving responsibilities with practical support across the business.

The Role

Delivering and collecting components to and from customers and suppliers
Loading and unloading vehicles safely and securely
Supporting goods in and despatch activities
Assisting in the workshop with general labouring duties
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas
Supporting the production team when required
Ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and professionally

You will be representing the company when out on the road, so a professional attitude and good communication skills are essential.

Requirements

Full UK driving licence
Must be over 25 years old due to insurance policy requirements
No more than 6 points on licence
Previous experience in a driving or labouring role desirable
Good level of physical fitness
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Flexible attitude with willingness to support different areas of the business
Basic understanding of health and safety
