Job Title: Account Handler – HNW/Personal Lines

Location: Colchester (hybrid options)

Salary: Up to £40,000

Role Summary:

This position is focused on managing a mixed portfolio of mainly high-net-worth and personal lines clients, with full responsibility for servicing and growing existing relationships. You’ll be entrusted with delegated authority, given freedom to manage your workload, and supported with a clear progression pathway toward more complex client profiles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a book of c.25 clients per month, ensuring high-touch, personal service

• Handle a mix of household (95%+) and HNW vehicles, with delegated authority products

• Deliver all aspects of broking and administration to maintain smooth client service

• Build strong client relationships by phone, with the option to meet clients as needed

• Take full ownership of your portfolio, trusted to manage without micromanagement

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience handling high-net-worth personal lines clients

• Strong broking and administrative skills, with delegated authority experience

• Confident communicator with a personal, client-first approach

• Able to thrive in a busy, characterful office environment

• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
