We are looking for a patient and experienced SEN Tutor to support KS3/KS4 learners by delivering Functional Skills as well as core English and Maths, while also helping them successfully reintegrate into educational settings.
Your sessions will focus on:

Reinforcing learning and building confidence in core subjects/ functional skills.
Providing structured, engaging activities tailored to the student's needs.
Supporting emotional regulation and motivation in a calm, positive environment.

We have multiple opportunities available for experienced SEN tutors in the Havant district to support a range of students across the secondary school curriculum

History of speech articulation and language difficulties.
Challenges with emotional and behavioural regulation and low self-esteem.
Diagnosed with Autism, Consistent Speech Sound Disorder, hyper-mobility in fingers, and cerebral palsy.
Polite, well-mannered, and engaging, but may refuse tasks when upset or frustrated.

Ideal Candidate

Experience working with ASD and complex SEND needs.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to support speech, language, and emotional regulation.
Patient, creative, and resilient approach to learning.
