Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with Severe Learning Difficulties? We are seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic teacher to join our nurturing and forward-thinking special school in Islington- working as a SEND primary teacher.

About Us:

Our school is a vibrant, inclusive learning environment for pupils aged 4-11 with a range of complex needs, primarily Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), including autism, sensory needs, and associated communication challenges. We are committed to providing personalised, meaningful learning experiences that support each child's development and independence.

The Role:

As a SEND Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of your pupils
Use a range of strategies including sensory approaches, communication aids (e.g. PECS, Makaton), and therapeutic input
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, support staff, and families
Create a positive, structured learning environment that supports emotional regulation and wellbeing
Be part of a supportive and collaborative staff team that values creativity and professional growthWhat We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status QTS
Experience teaching children with SLD, PMLD, or complex needs (desirable but not essential - we welcome applications from mainstream teachers with a passion for SEND)
A nurturing, patient, and resilient attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
