About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Supply Chain Buyer to join our growing operations team. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials, products, and services across our supply chain — balancing cost, quality, and reliability to keep our business moving.

What You'll Be Doing

* Managing the end-to-end purchasing process for assigned categories

* Sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to secure the best value

* Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues quickly and effectively

* Analysing demand forecasts and stock levels to maintain optimal inventory

* Raising purchase orders and ensuring accurate documentation

* Working closely with production, logistics, and finance teams to support operational needs

* Identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve lead times, and strengthen supply resilience

* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain

What We're Looking For

* Experience in a Buyer, Procurement, or Supply Chain role

* Strong negotiation and supplier management skills

* Confident working with data, forecasts, and ERP/MRP systems

* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

* A proactive mindset with the ability to prioritise and solve problems

* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

* CIPS qualification (or working towards it) is a bonus, not a requirement
