Production Planner

£28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Monday To Friday days

Contract Personnel are currently looking for a Production Planner to join our well-respected client based in Norwich to plan and support the activities across all areas which include Fabrication areas, Winding Shop, Final Assembly and Service Department in their objectives of meeting the production output targets

Main duties and responsibilities -

On receipt of Technical drawings create manufacturing work orders that will identify raw materials to use on various machining centres, create the routing and operations that will result in the timely completion of the finished component.
To create Work Orders that support the supply of components required by all areas of the business to achieve output targets, co-ordinating where necessary with all departments to achieve component availability.
Release Work Orders to Production, including supporting documentation in time to   meet required completions
Release Red folders to Bay 30 for build/overhaul of motors
To check material supply and highlight concerns that may risk planned activities
To liaise with Purchasing on sub contract activities
To carry out other tasks as may be reasonably requested by Line Manager, that are within the role holder's ability
Experience and Competency Requirements

Essential:

Understanding of technical drawings
Have experience or working in a role providing customer service
Desirable:

Have experience of working in a Planning role
Have previously worked within a manufacturing environment
