SENIOR ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT - £45,000 to £55,000 + Benefits

A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking an experienced SENIOR ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT to join its established team in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled and commercially aware consultant to lead on building acoustics, environmental noise, and infrastructure projects across the South East.

As a SENIOR ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT, you will take responsibility for project delivery from initial proposal to final report, liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and planners. You'll also mentor junior colleagues, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and contribute to business development initiatives.

We are looking for a SENIOR ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT with:

5+ years' experience in acoustic consultancy

Strong understanding of BS4142, BS8233, BB93, and environmental regulations

Proficiency with CadnaA, SoundPLAN, or equivalent modelling tools

Excellent client-facing and report-writing skills

Degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, or related field

Full UK driving licence

This Reading-based role offers a £45,000 to £55,000 salary, hybrid working options, pension scheme, private healthcare, CPD funding, and a clear pathway to Principal level.
