Job Title: CNC Machinist - Horizontal Boring & Milling

Location: Sheffield

Key Details

Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 4:30pm - 2:30am

Pay Rate: Starting at £23.70 per hour (depending on experience)

Overtime:

Time and a half available during the week and on Saturdays

Double time on Sundays

Plenty of overtime available

Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong knowledge of horizontal boring and milling machines. The role will involve working on Heidenhain-controlled milling machines.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce precision components

Operate CNC horizontal boring and milling machines with Heidenhain controls
Carry out setups, adjustments, and tool changes as required

Ensure components meet quality specifications through inspection and measurement

Maintain a safe and efficient working environment

Requirements

Proven experience operating CNC horizontal boring and milling machines with Heidenhain controls
Strong understanding of precision engineering and machining processes

Ability to work independently during night shifts

Commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency
