Engineering Technician - £32,000 per year (Temp to Perm)

About the Role

We're looking for a reliable Technician to join our team on a temp‑to‑perm basis. If you have experience working with small tools, petrol engines, large vehicles, enjoy hands‑on technical work, and take pride in keeping equipment safe and fully operational, this could be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities

* Repairing and maintaining a range of small tools and equipment

* Carrying out calibration work to ensure tools meet required standards

* Performing PAT testing in line with safety regulations

* Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently

* Keeping accurate service and maintenance records

* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of safety and quality

What We're Looking For

* Previous experience as a small tool's fitter, technician, or similar role

* Knowledge of tool repair, calibration, and electrical safety

* PAT testing experience (qualification desirable)

* Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Must have some experience in petrol engines.
