Are you passionate about supporting children and families to achieve positive, long-lasting outcomes? Do you have experience leading teams and driving quality practice within a multi-agency framework? If so, we want to hear from you!

We're currently recruiting for a Family Help Deputy Practice Manager to assist in the day-to-day leadership of one or two neighbourhood teams. In this role, you will work closely with families experiencing complex challenges, empowering them to build resilience and reduce dependency on public services.

? What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting the Family Help Practice Manager in managing a high-performing, child-centred service.

Leading and supervising staff using a strengths-based, whole-family approach.

Championing the Council's “Progress with Unity” values across all practice.

Ensuring quality assessments, interventions, and outcomes through the Early Help Framework.

Providing leadership on safeguarding, resilience-building, and inter-agency collaboration.

Contributing to service performance and budget oversight.

? What We're Looking For:
Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) in a caring profession and relevant experience.

Supervisory/management experience in children and family services.

Strong knowledge of safeguarding, family support, and statutory frameworks.

Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Commitment to professional development and service improvement.

Flexibility to work evenings/weekends when required.

A valid driving licence or ability to travel independently.
