About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiasic Nurse to join a dedicated team in Newport. In this role, you'll provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their health, comfort, and dignity. Working closely with the Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in delivering person-centred nursing care while supporting and supervising staff as needed.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Medication Administration - Safely and accurately complete medication rounds.
✔ Resident Care - Provide high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents.
✔ Autonomous Nursing Practice - Confidently manage shifts without direct supervision.
✔ Collaboration - Work closely with the Deputy Manager and care team.
✔ Clinical Duties - Carry out assessments, create care plans, and monitor residents' health.
✔ NMC Compliance - Maintain an active NMC Pin and adhere to all nursing regulations.

Requirements

✅ Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN, RMN, RNLD)
✅ Valid NMC Pin - Must be currently registered.
✅ Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (Nursing home experience preferred).
✅ Excellent clinical skills - Strong knowledge of care planning and medication administration.
✅ Leadership ability - Confident in supervising and guiding staff.
