Account Manager / Junior Account Manager - MSP
Locations: North West London, Colchester, Portsmouth, Wolverhampton
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE + Bonus
Hours: Flexible (start between 8:00-9:30, finish between 16:30-18:00)
Working Model: Fully on-site for 3-month probation, then hybrid (3 days in the office / 2 days from home)
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) seeking a driven Account Manager or Junior Account Manager to join their team across multiple UK locations.
This role is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of experience in an Account Management role within the MSP sector, who is confident managing existing client relationships and generating new business.
You will play a key role in managing client accounts while actively identifying opportunities to expand the client base.
Key Responsibilities as an Account Manager:
- Act as the main point of contact for your assigned MSP clients
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with stakeholders
- Proactively resolve client issues and ensure service excellence
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver seamless IT support
- Identify and close upselling opportunities and expand existing accounts
- Develop new business by building relationships with prospective clients
- Support onboarding of new clients and oversee contract renewals
Requirements as an Account Manager:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Account Manager within an MSP is essential
- Background in 1st and 2nd line support
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Comfortable selling to both new and existing clients
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation abilities
- Confident working independently and collaboratively with technical teams
