Mechanical Engineer - £42,000 Basic Salary
Location: Liverpool Street, City of London
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established on-site team of three engineers at a prestigious commercial site in the City of London. Key Responsibilities

Carry out mechanical maintenance, PPM and reactive tasks across the site

*

Diagnose and repair mechanical faults, ensuring minimal downtime

*

Work closely with the on-site engineering team to maintain high service standards

*

Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations

*

Support site operations during callouts and overtime when required

£42,000 basic salary

Lots of overtime available (paid at x1.5)

Call-out rota: 1 in 3 weeks (£100 standby)

About You

*

Qualified Mechanical Engineer (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)

Strong background in building services or facilities maintenance
