Salary: £168 - £232/day paye, weekly pay

Supply Heroes are recruiting for a Year 1 Teacher to join a faith school in Handsworth, Birmingham. This school is OFSTED rated Good. The school has a supportive Senior Leadership Team making it ideal for a ECT Teacher to join. ECT Induction is supported and a mentor will be assigned to help you reflect, develop and grow both personally and academically. Interviews are taking place week commencing Monday 9th June.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

* Taking on full responsibility for a Year 1 class

* Working in a collaborative team and contribute to whole school iniatives

* Have high expectations of your students.

* Inspire and advocate the schools ethose, values and missions

* Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning practices, providing guidance and support to enhance the overall quality of education.

* Assessing student progress on a regular basis

* Supporting students' social and emotional development

* Identifying students who may need additional support and connecting them with the resources they need

* Working effectively with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students

We are looking for someone who is:

* Interested in Teaching in Year 1

* A desire to succeed with a can-do attitude to develop thier teaching in KS1

* Enthusiastic and passionate about teaching

* Creative and innovative in their teaching methods

* Able to build positive relationships with students and staff

* A team player who is willing to collaborate with others

* A good communicator who is able to explain concepts clearly

* Flexible and adaptable to the pupils needs

* Have a teaching qualification to teach in the UK
