PHE Technical Supervisor/Manager

Location: AberdeenSalary: £40,000+ per annum (DOE)Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pmContract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plate Heat Exchanger (PHE) Technical Supervisor/Manager to lead our service department. This role involves overseeing inspection, maintenance, cleaning, and repair of PHEs and Shell & Tube exchangers, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor PHE technicians
• Lead daily toolbox talks and ensure workshop safety
• Oversee disassembly, inspection, cleaning, and reassembly of PHEs
• Support Sales with technical input and quotations
• Coordinate job schedules, manpower, and resources
• Maintain service documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Engage with clients for troubleshooting and diagnostics

Requirements

• 5–8 years’ experience with PHEs and Shell & Tube exchangers
• Proven leadership in a technical/service environment
• Strong understanding of gasketed, brazed, and welded PHEs
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Full clean UK driving licence
