Position: Software Assurance Developer/ Engineer (SC CLEARED)

Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Ipswich)

First Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for Software Assurance Developer/ Engineer to start immediately.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE SC CLEARED

The role would be remote based with occasional visits to office and site Sizewell (Ipswich).

• LabVIEW experience, particularly in use of LabVIEW to control real-time systems (PXI real-time controller, cRIO real-time controller and cRIO FPGA controller).

• Experience of debugging networks of LabVIEW-powered real-time systems ideal.

• Experience of integration, factory-acceptance and site-acceptance testing.

• Understanding of the process and experience of handling deviations from testing (e.g. management of defects, resumption of testing following fixes/sentencing).

• Desirable to have experience of writing commissioning plans and test plans and procedures.

• Experience of commissioning a system interfacing with customer's existing hardware ideal, including fault-finding etc.

• Ability to dive in to existing project and get up to speed on high- and lower-level details to be able to understand how and why the system works.
