A contractor specialising in structural steel and architectural metalwork is seeking an experienced Draughtsman to join their team in Wickford.

Salary: £46,000 - £48,000 plus bonus's and annual pay reviews
Start Date: ASAP
Work Arrangement: Full-time, on-site
Work Hours: 45 hours per week (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed drawings and models for structural steel and architectural metalwork projects.
Use TEKLA to produce accurate 2D and 3D designs.
Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and site teams to ensure project specifications are met.
Revise drawings as required to reflect design changes or client feedback.
Support project delivery by providing technical input and drawing updates as needed.
Qualifications:

Proficient in TEKLA for structural and architectural metalwork drafting.
Previous experience in producing drawings for steel and architectural projects.
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical specifications.
Effective communication skills for liaising with project teams.
