ProTalent is working with a leading accountancy practice who are seeking an Audit Senior to join their team. This is a well-established Accountancy Practice based in Ipswich, currently expanding their Corporate and Commercial Division. We are on the hunt for a motivated Audit Senior to lead site audit teams, offering hands-on compliance and advisory services that not only meet but exceed client expectations.

**Your Responsibilities:**
**Audit:**
- Develop comprehensive audit plans that align with objectives.- Lead discussions on audit strategy and risk assessment.- Oversee all facets of audit fieldwork and completion.- Ensure planned audit work fulfils objectives and standards.- Prepare audit documentation and financial statement drafts.- Delegate tasks to audit team members, providing necessary training.- Address and advance conclusions on technical and audit issues.
**Client Relations:**
- Maintain current understanding of clients' businesses.- Foster positive working relationships with client staff.- Identify opportunities to offer additional services.
**Task Management:**
- Uphold the firm's professional duties and achieve deadlines.- Manage workload effectively and communicate with superiors.
**Desirable Qualifications and Experience:**
- ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent.- Experience with external client interaction.- Significant background in professional accountancy practice.- Proficiency in Microsoft packages and audit software.- Ability to adapt swiftly to changing priorities.- Portfolio management experience and coaching skills.
