About the Role:

This full-time, long-term role is based at a supportive Pupil Referral Unit in Tamworth that caters for students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. You will be delivering a cross-curricular timetable that includes core subjects like English and Maths, alongside personal development and vocational learning. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will have the opportunity to positively impact students' lives through creative, flexible teaching and relationship-building.

You will be supported by a dedicated team of pastoral and behaviour staff, and will be expected to maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour. This is an ideal role for a teacher who thrives in a dynamic environment and is confident in delivering multiple subjects at KS3 and KS4 level.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects including English, Maths, PSHE, and vocational topics
Adapt planning and delivery to meet the individual needs of students
Work closely with the PRU team, including pastoral and behaviour specialists
Promote positive learning experiences and help build student confidence
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learningRequirements:

QTS/QTLS or relevant teaching qualification
Experience working in PRUs or with students with SEMH/behavioural needs is highly desirable
Confident delivering multiple subjects at KS3/KS4 level
Resilient, calm under pressure, and able to build rapport quickly
