BJ24 Mechanical and Electrical Team Leader
Location: Ascot
Salary: £45,000 - £47,000 (Dependant on Experience)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Overtime Opportunities Available)

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Team Leader

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to work on a prestigious site in Ascot.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the people management of the M&E Team and acts as a role model in setting exacting standards of personnel commitment.
Responsible for Health and Safety within the M&E Team and contractors under your direct control, making sure that RAMS are received, filed, and followed.
To ensure and maintain the estate in accordance with operating procedures.
To undertake regular inspections of the estate, making sure any faults are repaired within deadlines.
To conduct regular tests of alarms and systems, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and kept up to date.
To be responsible for procurement of materials, tools, and service providers for maintenance tasks with the Support of the Facilities Management team.
Supervise the running of M&E projects in support of the M&E Manager including consulting with other Team Leaders to implement skills such as Maintenance, ICT etc.
Produce weekly reports for the Facilities Team Manager.
Produce weekly planners for the team to understand the needs and wants of the business.

Skills and Qualifications:

Recognised formal Mechanical or Electrical qualification (City and Guilds or equivalent)
Considerable experience as a building service engineer for a large organisation.
Reading and understanding of drawings.
Hands-on experience of building services and building management control systems.
Knowledge of relevant Health & Safety, Electricity at Work regulations and COSHH requirements.
Experience of fault-finding techniques.
Experience of leading a team.
Computer literate with a good standard of ICT knowledge including Microsoft Office.
