HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers Required - Slough

We are currently recruiting reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers for a busy logistics operation based in Slough.

• Approx. 95% air freight / cargo work - Level D certification required

• Remaining work includes trunking

• Ongoing, consistent agency work with opportunity for regular shifts

• Minimum 1 year HGV experience preferred
  (less may be considered with the right certifications)

• Valid Level D (Cargo Operative) certificate - essential

• DBS check required

• Valid UK licence, CPC & Tacho

HGV Class 1:

• Days: £21.00 per hour

• Nights: £22.00 per hour

• Weekends & Bank Holidays: £23.00 per hour

HGV Class 2:

• Days: £19.00 per hour

• Nights: £20.00 per hour

• Weekends & Bank Holidays: £21.00 per hour

• Days: 06:00 - 18:00

• Nights: 18:00 - 06:00

• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed (typically 10-12 hour shifts)

• 1-hour unpaid break

• Work available Monday to Sunday, including weekends

• Handling screened cargo (known & unknown)

• No photography allowed on site

• Mobile phones allowed but must be used appropriately

• Must follow strict procedures when handling sealed diplomatic cargo

• Sign-in procedures must be followed correctly (including vehicle details where required)

• 7-day operation with varying shift patterns

• Workers must complete a site registration pack before starting

• Opportunity for more consistent work based on performance
