We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day finance operations and support strategic decision-making across the business. This is a hands-on role suited to a technically strong accountant who enjoys managing a team, improving processes, and partnering with stakeholders. The position will involve hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2days remote working. The company offer bonuses up to 25% of the salary.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Prepare and review management accounts, including commentary and variance analysis
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements
• Oversee cash flow management and financial controls
• Manage and develop a finance team, providing leadership and guidance
• Act as a business partner to operational teams, supporting commercial decision-making
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisers, and other stakeholders
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Experience producing management accounts and leading month-end processes
• Proven team management or supervisory experience
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
• Commercially aware with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders
