Distinct are working with an Employee-owned manufacturing business, who are looking for a commercially focused finance lead to partner with operations and drive performance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who wants to play a key role in driving performance and influencing strategic decisions within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.

With continued growth and investment, the business is now looking to strengthen its finance function with a commercially focused leader who can turn insight into action.

The Role:

• Partner with senior leaders and operations to improve performance and profitability
• Translate manufacturing data (scrap, downtime, utilisation, energy) into actionable insight
• Support pricing, margin and customer profitability decisions
• Build forecasts and scenario models to guide decision-making
• Lead and develop a small finance team
• Maintain oversight of reporting, controls and governance

What They Are Looking For:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Experience in manufacturing or operational environments (desirable).
• Possess a strong commercial mindset and understanding of operational cost drivers.
• Enjoy working closely with operational teams and building strong relationships across the business.
• Confident influencing non-finance stakeholders.
• Able to turn data into clear, commercial recommendations.

What They Offer:

• Salary of upto £65k.
