Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver high-quality PPA cover across multiple year groups including Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, and Year 6.
- Provide targeted interventions and additional support for pupils as directed by the class teacher or SENCO.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of lessons and interventions.
- Support the school’s vision for raising attainment and progress among students.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all pupils.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to ensure continuity and effectiveness of learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Strong classroom management skills, capable of adapting to different year groups and subjects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for working effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing schedules and needs within the school.
