Salary: £75000 - £80000/annum + car allowance & fuel card

As the M&E Pre Construction Manager, you will be a key player in our project development process. You will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of mechanical and electrical (M&E) pre-construction activities on a diverse range of projects. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects from their initial stages.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the M&E pre-construction efforts, collaborating with the design team, estimating department, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans.

* Conduct detailed reviews of project specifications and drawings, identifying potential design and technical challenges.

* Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for M&E works, taking into account material and labor costs.

* Manage the procurement process, engaging with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive bids and negotiate contracts.

* Oversee the preparation of technical submittals and ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations.

* Collaborate with the project team to develop innovative and sustainable M&E solutions that meet project objectives.

* Provide technical expertise during project development, addressing engineering queries and proposing value engineering solutions.

* Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an M&E Pre Construction Manager or a similar role within the construction industry.

* In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, construction methodologies, and pre-construction processes.

* Strong understanding of building regulations, industry standards, and sustainability practices.

* Excellent project management and planning skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.

* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

* Relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field are highly desirable.
