Salary: £84 - £100/day

We are currently seeking a confident and experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in the M11 area. This is a full-time position beginning in September 2025 and continuing until July 2026.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the upper KS2 curriculum (Year 5/6) and be confident in supporting pupils in preparation for SATs. You will be working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons, provide targeted interventions, and help pupils reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Support teaching and learning in Upper KS2 classrooms

Work 1:1 and with small groups to deliver intervention and booster sessions

Assist with planning, preparing, and delivering lessons

Support pupils with varying levels of ability, including those with additional needs

Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

Ideal Candidate:

Has recent experience working in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 5 or 6

Strong understanding of the KS2 national curriculum and SATs preparation

Able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff

Proactive, reliable, and passionate about education

Holds a relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
