Your new company
You will have the opportunity to join a well-established East Sussex public organisation, based in Lewes, providing essential services to the local area, working within their Estates department. The organisation have been developing a new Estates Strategy that will provide direction for the estate and support the delivery of their services for the future.
Your new role
In your new role, you will assist the Assistant Director of Resources to effectively plan, develop, implement and operate a service-wide Estates Management Service. In doing so, you will need to complete strategy/policy reviews, offer advice and support, provide a high quality of service and consultation, carry out management and financial responsibilities.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to provide strategic direction and leadership to staff and consultants engaged by the Estates department, with regards to development, infrastructure and business processes on behalf of the Senior Leadership Team, facilitating the achievement of Service business objectives and to drive forward organisational performance. Experience of the public sector and the strategy side of this role is key when applying.
