We're looking for a reliable, professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join our regional logistics team. This is a key role ensuring our products are delivered safely, efficiently and on time, while upholding Hanson's high standards of professionalism, safety and customer service.

The Purpose of the Role
You'll be responsible for delivering Hanson products to customers in a timely, efficient and courteous manner, while ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, the Working Time Directive, Road Transport Law and company procedures.
As part of the regional logistics function, you'll play a vital role in maintaining operational performance, customer satisfaction and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Operate company vehicles safely, professionally and efficiently
Ensure vehicles and equipment are well maintained, clean and legally compliant
Accurately complete all vehicle checks, records and documentation
Comply with all company policies, procedures and administration requirements
Adhere strictly to Health & Safety, Working Time Directive and Road Transport legislation
Follow environmental procedures for waste disposal, water discharge and dust emissions
Deliver products in a cost‑effective, efficient and courteous manner
Maintain punctual and reliable attendance at the operating unit
Report defects, issues or concerns promptly
Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by management
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
LGV / HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
Clean driving licence
Valid EPIC card
Full working knowledge of Road Transport Law, Working Time Directive and relevant Health & Safety and Environmental legislation
Numerate and literate
Ability to identify and report issues clearly
Self‑motivated, physically fit and able to work unsupervised
